No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch.” This is too true. Putting yourself out there and changing your lifestyle is an intimidating task. The hardest part about getting back into running is the endless list of excuses:
“I’m busy…”
“I’m tired…”
“Tommorrow!”
“I’m embarrassed for people to see me huffing and puffing”
“I can barely run a mile.”
“It’s just too hard.”
The beginning of my training will not be a piece of cake, but I’ve decided that I’m done making excuses. The only person that has stopped me is myself and I will no longer allow myself to be an obstacle.
